I joined a rescues page and saw a beautiful Shire that had a perfect stance and was just breath taking. It wasn't until they made a comment that Ollie wasn't just Ollie. He was Fox Valley Oliver, a famous shire that even modeled for Breyer's breeds of the world. I actually have that model. He came to them malnourished with sore hooves and many physical issues. I couldn't believe how this once beautiful star fell from grace and I'm so glad he found a soft place to land and a forever home.
