Love seeing them try to work it out I bet ripley straight in there no messingRipley for sure! Of all my birds I've ever had, he's the ultimate forager!
I've had a couple that he took a bit to get into but then he's just in it within seconds lolLove seeing them try to work it out I bet ripley straight in there no messing
Have you tried the windmill one ?I've had a couple that he took a bit to get into but then he's just in it within seconds lol
Yes that's one of his favorites! And I like it because it's easy to clean Some are downright awful to clean out!Have you tried the windmill one ?
Which ones did he take a bit to get intoI've had a couple that he took a bit to get into but then he's just in it within seconds lol
I think that may have to be my next oneYes that's one of his favorites! And I like it because it's easy to clean Some are downright awful to clean out!
It does turn the four cornersOh sorry the windmill is not his favorite, the Four Corners you posted is I was thinking it turned like a windmill
Yeah but I blanked on the fact that there's another toy called that!It does turn the four corners
The Tumbler I just fill with soapy water and shake it like a martini. Straw brushes to get anything I missedI’ve read the push and pull as a tiny hole hardly any treats fit in it
no one likes the wheel here don’t bother with it at all
the tumbler is so hard to clean haha
Was only pico who liked the wheel I’ve only just put it back up to play with as I hated seeing it untouchedThe Tumbler I just fill with soapy water and shake it like a martini. Straw brushes to get anything I missed
Push N Pull definitely not worth it.
I'm surprised about the wheel! My green cheek and Quakers also loved that one. The big green one though no one likes.
Gosh that second one is huge lol. Bought one for Rupert. He can manage it, but he’s kind of a brute force kinda forager. Shake it and sling it, hope for the sound of treats dropping. These two. The Push N Pull is more like a "shake it until things fall out"
Both of these though are hard to fill and clean so I don't use them anymore.

I would not like to think of foraging toys for a macaw haha The mental toys are so expensive we need pictures of his foraging toys pretty pleaseBurt is the king of foraging here- he even finds awesome things that were not ever hidden for him to find
Burt works out all the forage toys pretty fast- starts by simply trying to bust his way in with brute force then if he cant he will actually put the effort into using the forager correctly so we can really only use the metal ones or the blocks of wood with holes drilled in for food bits otherwise they are an expensive one off play toy which is frustrating as I am constantly trying to come up with new ways for him to be able to forage.
Birdie is still getting there with everything including foraging (one legged baby steps for Birdie lol) so hopefully within a few more months I can pass down all the foraging toys I bought for Burt that are not metal, Birdie actually foraged and chewed a coloured toy for the first time a few weeks back so I will keep making it easy for him and hope he continues to enjoy finding treats in his toy that some idiot put right in his way lol
