Hey,

So currently my 2 Indian Ringnecks are on formula only, but there almost at the point where I can start offering, proper food/seeds /pellets.

I want to make sure they are getting enough and I know from reading most recommendations are to feed 20% of there body weight, this being said, what's the best ratio? (seeds : fruit & veg : pellets)

Also with that being said, can any on recommend what seed mixes they use or pellets they use? (I've seen alot of each marketed, but obviously I just want what's best for them!)

Thanks in advance

Their is so much diet info out there, its hard to know what's best.

But because young ones are learning and exploring food. Its great to offer a wide variety of veggies, leafy greens, and such . I often read dicing up veggies to about pea sizes when they are starting out. Soften pellets with a little water. Wean by abundance

This is a weaning article that might be helpful.
