Hi, so I want to change my budgies bowls to stainless steel bowls. But the one they have in there now with their vegetables they always manage to chuck it on the floor! First it was only one of them doing it but now they both do it as a game!
They have plenty of toys (shredding and foraging) in their cages and get plenty of time out I think they just enjoy doing it rather than boredom. They used to stop if I’d put my hand in the way but now they carry on like it’s me playing with them! I do clean their plastic bowls everyday thoroughly but I know that stainless steel bowls don’t gather bacteria like plastic.
I was just wondering if there were any alternative stainless steel bowls rather than the classic bowls with rings to hold them? For reference I live in the UK if anyone manages to find anything.

These seem kinda different MidWest Homes for Pets Snap'y Fit Stainless Steel Food Bowl/Pet Bowl https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MD3NLS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_HNZDPJ2MX7EX29WVDDGB, Ethical Pet Stainless Steel Bird Cup with Wire https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002ZS370/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_JCEDBESK91VBGFEZZNWN, Overall the ring held bowls seem to be the most common and are what I use, they’re easy to remove but the birds can’t remove them
Yeah the second type are the type I already have but mine manage to remove them. But I will definitely look into the first ones! Thank you
