First year with Koko

Today Koko's been with us a year. This is what I have learned. She's a big baby who wants nothing more than to cuddle. Very gentle and gets her feelings hurt easily if I tell her no. Doesn't hold a grudge for very long, and she's not a picky eater. I can't believe how that big of beak can be so gentle. I needed a skin graft in 2014 and I have a faded scar from my little finger to my wrist. She found it and everyday she has to gently try to remove it she actually looks concerned about it. Her nails are long in the last pic they got done Friday

koko is absolutely beautiful!
My home is almost all male macaws all the time (just happened that way) and I love seeing pics of Koko to get my girly macaw fix.

Carol, she is beautiful. You can see how much her changed diet has done for her feathers in a years time. Being with her al the time you may not even notice but her feather quality has improved so much and her colors are much brighter!
