The chicks are cute but I have to admit Daddy Rooster is quite impressive looking. I wouldn't want to mess with him at all.

It is such a big new world out there for these little guys. I had a farm where I used to live and raised chickens. Had a big white rooster like yours. He got to be a bully with me but I would catch him and hold onto him talking softly and eventually he bonded with me. They are so impressive and will guard everything. I used to love to hear him crow so loudly at 6:30 am on the dot! Miss that. They all had names so I could never imagine eating one of them ever. Lovely eggs though, tasted great.
