First greys

Our first pair of greys has arrived. They are all fluffed up because my phone is red and not a single one of my birds likes it when I take a picture with it.

Paco hates my cell phone, as you can see in the pic on my avatar that is him leaning over to take a bite of it, LOL. What a pretty pair!

There is something in the water here. These two have been here for 2 weeks today, and we saw them breeding this morning. They have bred once in the past but the female was late to sit on the eggs and nothing developed. Everything else went right, but it was her first time ever. They weren't given a nest box again because the breeder was starting to wind down her operations.

Maybe the green wings mating yesterday inspired them. This has been a very strange year for breeding.
