Colours not brilliant still experimenting hubby away for two night so I got bored and asked my neighbour to cut me so wood drilled my own holes though super proud of my blonde women self

I don't know unfortunately. My main concern is that Glycerin is usually sweet tasting so could encourage them to eat non-food items.

Black is a hard color. I actually stopped trying because people would get mad at me that it was more purple or grey depending on the batch. Not worth the headache!

I left it in a container over night and it’s gone better today

They look so great. Will see if I can get the same colors, did you color balsa or pine? I have colored wooden beads and pine but the beads didn't even get a hint of color hehe. Will snap a picture of my colored blocks I have left tomorrow

This one pine only done one piece my neighbor cut as I haven’t got my machine yet and hubby away so she sawed me a piece to test

These are balsa the blue mixture was running out though so didn’t cover well just quick dipped this one

This is basswood again cuts aren’t brilliant with a saw

Balls I found a glass cup helps better and to mix with a spoon a lot and soak a bit better I am still trying what works I would say balls have been hardest it either took at top or bottom but not middle

Really all of it looks beautiful, in my opinion you got it right on the first try How did the flock like the first batch of your toys?

My ugly blocks yellow(or orange don't remember what is was supposed to be), blue and purple. I have used most of them though, finally haha. Mostly a few misfit blocks left.

Ohh that's a beautiful toy!! Glad they liked the previous ones it's great when they love their toys but man the upkeep sometimes to keep them occupied

I think with rubbing alcohol, but don't remember exactly. My memory is terrible. I used a 'how to do it' post from Jan from blusbirdtoys, but obviously I had a different brand paint so possibly that played into it. Or I just did it wrong

Okayish, they don't seem to have a strong preference for colored vs non colored, but I am sure they disliked that weird orange, that went basically untouched I was still getting used to my saw table and cut most of that wood a bit too thick, used most to drill holes and then stuff treats in it. If I do that, no matter what it is it gets demolished sooner or later
The square blocks were a succes though!

I wouldn’t know what my flocks loves if it wasn’t for @Macawnutz and @Mizzely amazing toys which I will still order but hubby won’t let me at min because of customs charges and to be fair not even sure what’s going on because Royal Mail and parcelforce have signs up that they aren’t delivering to America at min
