First Birdy Bread!

So i've never made birdie bread before, despite having 4 birds. i decided today i would try. it's currently in the oven!

I used Harrison's Birdie Bread mix, and added quinoa, flax seed, dried papaya, barley, peas, carrots, lentils, a "soup bean" mix with a bunch of different beans, and Beak Appetit turbofood!

Here's a couple pictures (taken with iPhone, so they're not so great):

Put them in muffin tins and 2 mini-loafs. I'll take a picture of when they're done!

Yum!!! Our birds love birdie bread! I cut it into small chunks and freeze half of it. hehe...

Pepper doesn't know *quite* what to do with it. she's picking at it tentitively. I left my camera at work but I will take pics to-morrow (I made PLENTY of bread....but left frozen peas out overnight. oops....).

So I came home from work and the bread was demolished! So during Pepper's playtime I gave her summore...and the results were adorable

Yay, and noms were had by all!

Well, by Pepper at least. the 'tiels won't eat anything put their pellets and millet...and we've tried so hard to get them to eat other stuff! but i'll keep trying, it's for their health.
