Yes they can society finch will even raise zebra Finch eggs

Oh I missed this question. I will share my link here too, in case someone else is looking for it. I personally would take great care mixing the two if you don't have an aviary setting. I do not have personal experience with societies and I am not a finch expert. I am coming from the perspective that I do keep sassy parrots, the parrotlets. Aviaries are far more forgiving than cages in terms of territory.
