Yes she have one splayed leg and the other her femur bone is too short.(she was born with her femur like that) her splayed leg was pointing backwards but the splaying improved a lot its not normal but is lots better. When she was given to me she was undevelopped for a 4 week old she looked like a 2.5 week old. Several Vets and the woman that gave her to me they all thought that it was better to put her to sleep but i didnt want to give up on her. And she acts like a healthy bird. Actually no one told her the meaning of the word 'disability'. Vet was impressed the last time she saw her and told me 'im glad you didnt follow my advice cause she moves around extremely well despite her legs being like that'Does Kiwi have splay legs? Such a beautiful bird.
