Feeling ecstatic

I can't explain how happy I feel right now. I just thought I'd share it with you all. Inca (OWA) is not hand tamed. Though he loves and demands scritches, he doesn't step up. He's quite hand shy outside his cage. Two days back, I was depressed for some reason. So I started playing with Inca. He was in a playful mood and in those occasions, he allows touching his foot and nail with my fingertips. He also grabs objects with one foot on request. I just say ' Inca, paa' (foot in bengali language) and he grabs target stick or what I offer. That day, I just offered him my forefinger and said 'paa' and, can you believe it, HE GRABBED MY FINGER, very gently. I felt like crying with joy.
When I got him nearly two years ago, he was a neglected boy, shy and scared. I don't know how much love I could give him, but I am getting it back in hundred folds.

Yes, thank you. And, Inca is holding my finger on request, on 70 percent cases(rest 30 percent, I am being given 'the tail')

As someone who deals with depression as well, I know that sudden downward feeling too. I hope you’re doing better lately.

Update: Inca is holding my finger whenever I offer him. Now advice me, how can I proceed for step up training.
P. S. He always prefers stable perches, afraid of t sticks and he hates swings as they are not stable.
