Feather Color Changes in the Poi

3 1/2 months or so - greenish head, baby orange cap

8 1/2 months or so - quite a grey head..

adult coral really starting to show on her forehead (aka not hiding as much behind grey feathers)

and a brand new coral wing feather - this one is much darker, almost red, compared to the ones that grew in a few weeks ago.

Along the same line as the post above, here are pictures taken at 6 months intervals.

A few days old -

6 months old - she started losing baby coral cap on her head.

12 months old - coral cap is staring to grow back in (a little splotchy), colour on her wings and ankles starting to show a lot more coral.

18 months old - coral cap taking further expansion (it's grown a lot in November), as well as the coral on her wings and feet. Her head also all nice and silver and her eyes are starting to lighten slightly.
