Chewy sells this branch, and I was trying to figure out if the branch is safe for birds. There was comments of how other people purchase the the branch for the birds, although has not assured me they are safe for bird. Never had the description informed that the item is safe nor be used for birds. Was wondering if anyone has high knowledge that the item is safe and okay for my parakeets to use. It's made from sandblasted grapevine which is safe for birds.

Mold isn't usually good for reptiles either ;) Sandblasted grapevine is actually popular with reptiles because it does well in high humidity.

I do not know much about Chewy but from the few things I do remember reading here about them I can not believe they would be likely to sell moldy things?!
They seem to be very good with customer service and I would think given that they seem to take pride in their name they would be unlikely to sell things that could be a massive problem or death sentence for such delicate creatures. I could be wrong but I surely hope not.

Good recommendation @Mizzely. I have never bought from them. I was going to buy a grapevine branch from Amazon but didn't because so many reviewers said it had mold.

Grapevine is also used with fish and invertebrates. In my experience its extremely rare that it has any issue with mold. Its normally really good in high humidity environments.

FYI: Chewy is 5-8 days behind in shipments right now.

Thanks for saying that. I ordered a few days ago (I'm getting critically low on my small Roudybush pellets) and I'm trying to eke out the last of my supply till the 10lb bag arrives.
