I've been so paranoid about falling too... Been making Josh salt every day, etc, because I fall every year without fail.

Well its been clear skies and above freezing for a few days now, so all the snow and ice have melted from the sidewalks and driveway.

Except last night we got a ton of fog, and then it dipped down to 23 degrees and coated my entire driveway with a thin sheet of ice. I was at a girlfriend's for movie night and got out of the car when I got home, fell on my butt, went inside to let Josh know I was going to the hospital (dr said last visit "If you fall, don't call, just come in") and got right back in the car.

I felt silly because all the ER people were like... So, you're not sore, you're not bleeding, you landed on your butt... Made me feel like I was there for no reason. But as soon as I got to the labor and delivery floor they were all over me, hooked me up to monitors, did some tests, etc and said I did exactly what I was supposed to. Luckily all was clear!

We always do bloodwork to make certain there aren't any fetal cells present in your blood, which would be indicative of a fetal trauma in utero. That, along with fetal monitoring provides us all with reassurances.
You absolutely did the right thing!
