My mom is refusing to take her to the vet.
She fell behind the radiator and went into shock once I pulled her out
She's all limp but alive
What do I do I'm panicking this is my first bird injury

If I were in your shoes and I was still a kid without my own money, honestly at that point I would take the money out of mom's wallet, take the bird to the vet in a taxi, and deal with the consequences later. Your mom is not being respectful of your bird's needs.

I'm not advocating stealing from your parents. I'm just telling you what I would do to protect my feathered child's wellbeing.

Call the vet, explain your situation, see if they will see the bird pro-bono. Most vets will talk to you on the phone for free.

Is there another adult you can call and ask for help? Even a friends parent might be willing to help you.

Yes, call friend's parents, aunts uncles, grandparents, etc. But do it quickly. How is the bird right now?

She's sitting up and looking around but her breathing is very shallow and she won't let me approach her cage without snapping at me.

Call your vet and ask to speak to the vet on the phone, or if you do not have a regular vet, find your nearest bird vet and ask to speak to the vet on the phone. Say it is an emergency. Explain your situation and see what can be done. I'm very angry at your mother btw.

being angry with minor's parent is not going to help.
here are somethings that will help, put little Kiwi into smaller warm (90degrees) cage with heating pad under half the cage put all the perches down low in this cage. cover the cage in half with dark towel and keep that warmth in the cage. make the bird has food and water in the cage low as you can get them. let the bird rest but observe the bird. any wobbling, falling over then get to a vet as soon as possible.

Again, she was limp and wobbly. She is sitting up and seems normal now but I scheduled a vet appointment this afternoon.
Do you have means of transportation and payment? I'm glad a bird doctor will be taking a look at this poor little feller. Best of luck. I'm sending you positive vibes :)

We have a box we got her in and a towel. She was fine when we brought her home originally in that, we'll use that.

She is ok from the shock, but she has a nutritional issue and is overweight. All her tail feathers have been gone for a week and have been slowly falling out for a month, and it's from her food the vet thinks. We tried to switch her and she refused. I'm so worried her tail feathers will never grow back and she'll never get to fly :sad2:

Don't give up on transitioning to better food. Are you trying to get Kiwi to eat pellets?
