Ella has shown affection for DH!

DH goes to the tiel cage often and whistles and talks to the birds. For the first time Ella came to the door of the cage and looked like she wanted out,so DH opened the door and she scurried out and onto the rope perch I have there. She then tilted her head...like she wanted scritches..he didn't know this so I told him...she wants to be scratched. He did and then she got even closer to him and when he stopped she put her foot on her own head you know how they do when they show you they want to be scratched. He gave her more scritches and she then jumped on his hand and looked up at him. It was so very cute . She really showed him that she likes him. The tiels have only been here a little over a month. I think he's slowly becoming a bird lover

It's so cute, she'll fly to him if I pick her up.He loves it . SHe preens herself on the arm of his chair and every once in a while he will pet her head and she twerps if he stops .It's so cute !He's not a cuddly kind of guy.and he totally gets all gooey with her

I think anybody will become a birdlover the second a bird invites them to scratch their head. I know that was the moment my boyfriend started to like Jacob.
