ahhh ha ha....cute! Make sure your wide awake and had your morning Joe before making oat meal for breakfast, you might end up with a bird popping out of your bowl of oatmeal saying Hhhiiiiiiiiii!!!!
Funny things happen when your not fully awake.
like when poppers hitched a ride in purse with mama to work...I didn't see it happen. But sure is funny now....

They love to dig through food looking for the best bits. Nerd would do it all the time making a mess, Lurch did it, and Dobby eats all his pellets except the orange ones so he digs around for his favorites.

Thanks. They are organic oats from a farmer in the same area as I live. (My first option is always to buy locally produced)

Funny things happen when your not fully awake.

Yes they do. Almost every morning because I'm a "slow starter". Sometimes it feels like their are laughing at me, but No! They can't, or?

They love to dig through food looking for the best bits.

I think she is doing it more for fun. She's not eating so many, often just chew on them and put them back in the box.
Today she spread her wings when she was digging in so I did expect her to take a bath. But thank god she did change her mind.
(I did see a green dusty parrot and a lot of oats on the floor in front of me)

Well I'm sure it's also great fun for her and she eats a few just because. If she was hungry she'd probably gobble down a bunch more but it probably feels neat and is great entertainment for her.

I don't think we have anything like them available here outside of the ones I buy called "Bob's Red Mill" extra thick rolled oats free of preservatives or additives. Next time I go to North Myrtle Beach I'll have to check the nutrition store... can't remember the name.

Then you should see her when I offer her the sunflower kernels pot.
Akela is so well behaved and polite so she only take one. Eliy takes so many so she not can chew on them. (I counted to 9 ones )
