My dad is 2600kilometres away and banned from entering this country.

That was my partners theory.. seems to be the case, they always bring them

Luckily I went into the city and bought 7 kilos the other week when we were finally allowed to leave town. I just put two scoops at a time in the feeder and some on the floor for the sparrows. When the feeder is empty, that´s when they knock on my bedroom window or come into the living room to look for more food/me to fill it up

So it's just gone 8pm.my birds are covered for bed, the wild birds won't come back now because it's dark, so I Sweep up for Jacob to go and lay outside, and instantly spot something familiar, in the dark...






This time, this is all I got. Strange, I usually get 4 halves. But this time, just this.

There was a fledging dove here the other day, though I got the sensation he was confused over his parents as they were pecking at him.

So I think I missed some shells, there was a fledgling around here recently. Learning to eat.
