Unfortunately, he really doesn't chew wood. Not even the soft stuff like balsa :( All he does that's parrot-like is weave
My bird doesn't chew wood either. I have to rely on my avian vet to keep his beak in shape.

My vet and I theorize that many Quakers are not as big into chewing due to the fact that they are not cavity nesters :)

Oh, my breeding pairs do, even rolled up paper. But come to think of it my pet Gracie doesn't chew wood but will chew cardboard and paper.
