Eating Spinach stems and midrib

At my place we make delicious dishes out of both spinach stems and leaves. But shine will give leaves a bite or two and will finish full of the spinach stem (that midrib of leaf and a few more inches).. Though they are not that much hard, and she didn't eat much and no changes in poop; I wanna ask if it's safe and nutritional!!
PS- She has an odd eating behavior!:banghead:

It's fine. Jasper gets whole leaf and eats what she wants.

Spinach is a good thing but only in moderation.
Do not feed it every day, as it is high in oxalates.
