Pichu is first, with a little help (had to make holes for him to get it).
That makes 3 chicks with their butts up!

Anyone have any foraging ideas using a paper towel/toilet paper roll? I have some laying around and I'm not sure what to do with them.

I really am impressed by the small amount of poop on the platform.
I turned Adelie and Sydneys box around so they can´t get in it, just sit on it like a platform, and they always poop on it! If they pooped on it less, I would get some of these corner perches 100%!
I think it's because they don't really spend much time on the platform itself, they prefer to perch on the edge and play with the stuff on it, so I'm just lucky I guess ;)

Incidentally I gave it a revamp and made it into Mabel's activity corner!

She loves it!

I don't know if it's only mine or a small birds thing but foot toys aren't really working for them. It is actually quite the challenge to find stimulating toys for small birds. :meh:
Yeah for Jeff I have issues finding any store-bought things. He is just kind of fearful of new things and needs Mabel to thoroughly inspect it before he will go near it!

I once took some paper straws and stuck them throughout it, you could put some treats in between the straws? I'll try and find a pic.

I also sometimes just take a scrunched up piece of paper and shove that inside the tube.

Great ideas! I hide treats around their cage and tucked in toys. I cover bowls with paper (rip a small hole in it if they're new to it). I make little foraging trays with paper shred and beads and then hide stuff in it. When we had our Budgie we would get giant millet and take a small piece and stick in in the little plastic balls in the picture. He LOVED digging around to reach it.
