I didnt know about the re home forum, but a craigslist add led to a local farmer who wanted more ducks in his flock. 11 of the ducklings moved yesterday. Since you all have enjoyed following this thread, I will post occasional pictures of the six we still have. Interestingly, the down on several of them is looking rather silver in color. I cant wait to see how that turns out.

Macchiato looks smaller than Mocha, but it could be the perspective.

As to choosing, these 6 got away from the group and hid in the coop. So we were able to catch the other 11.

I have now noticed those babies, are 1st in line into their pool and no longer can walk easily thru the chainlink fence. Ducks grow extremely fast.

a couple of new pictures. The littlest duckling is 2 weeks old tomorrow. the others are 3 to 5 days older. 3 of them are looking a silver/gray color. My guess is product of Latte (the cream & tan hen) and Topper who was 95% black with white spots on his chest. But I could be wrong.
