Pictures Duck species identification help

Saw these guys at the park. I've never seen them before. I can't find them in my native birds book...
Duckling and parent?,

Ringed teal maybe?

They might be male and female? I love the reddish color on the wings and the white ring around the back of the neck of the adult/male (?)!!

I’m going to try using the Cornell “Merlin Bird ID” to figure it out, I’ll tell you if I get any results.

Here’s a photo of a male and female, so you have a rarely seen pair! (I downloaded the pack the had birds from Spain on Merlin and the Ringed Teal is not part of that pack)

Thankyou!! I was searching for native birds, that must be why I never found a picture. We have the Eurasian Teals over here in Spain.
So now I´m wondering what they are doing in the pond. They weren´t here the otehr month on my last visit. I wonder if they were purposefully put in the park to breed... or if they arrived here from somewhere else.
The hen looks very young, she was so small and fluffy like a duckling that was almost fully grown but not quite.
