Sprinting down the street
I was just thinking that, Robin. I wouldn't consider the divider suitable for separating birds that do not get along very well. (Are not bonded). The whole cage is for my two bonded conures, so it is luckily not a worry. However, I know lots of people buy these kinds of cages specifically for breeding birds and the very idea worries me. I don't think birds, especially of different species, should be kept that close to one another, particularly separated only by cage bars. Breeding birds can be especially territorial and aggressive, too, depending on the species. So yes, Robin's advice is very good for anyone using this cage for more than one bird or a pair of bonded birds.
