Another uninformed bird owner. But by now they might all be buddies.

Oh dear :(

Maybe you could drop them a message to house the Plet in her own cage?

So will the parrotlet be after the two budgies?
Parrotlets are highly territorial and can get very emotional sometimes. There are even cases where mates can kill each other if they don't have a big enough cage to get away. It isn't anything wrong with them as birds. They are just reactive and quick to respond with physical violence.

It is not a good idea to house other species with parrotlets...and even multiple parrotlets in the same cage are questionable.

Out of cage common play is different. They aren't as possessive normally of the common areas.. it is more their nest...or cage.

Yikes I’m amazed she hasn’t hurt those budgies yet! Man is she ever pretty though, I’d bring that little girl home in a flash!

So, a small update. I did try to negotiate with the seller. They are sticking to their guns and it is non-negotiable. $250 for the parrotlet, $15 each for the budgies. That's just too much, especially in this area. Even saying I don't need the cage, the price gets quoted back at me the same.

I hate traders who won't bargain.

Why such a big difference between the budgies and p'let?! Maybe you can just take the budgies?

Parrotlets are on average about $300 here. $250 would be Craigslist-reasonable, especially given her color. And $15 is great for budgies in Phoenix. How much do parrotlets and budgies typically run in your area?
