Dobby got a shower yesterday

He's been hanging out and not really doing the shower eagle lately so it finally occurred to us he was looking natty and needed a good wet. Sister drug him and his shower cage into her master bathroom and he talked and did the eagle stuff then just sat quietly happily soaking up the warm water.
He looks like the dapper Dobby we all know and love now and seems to be feeling all shiny and new again.

He really seems to care about his appearance and usually looks like this but he was getting pretty beat up and greasy looking, he really does clean up good, thanks everyone.

Just saw this and it sure made me smile. He always loved his water time!

He does but it took him a bit to decide it was safe to sit in the water in our place. Lurch always looked a little beat up and Nerd had bad feathers he was ashamed of on one wing so he'd only stretch the good one for us. When Dobby starts trying to bathe in sisters water cups we know it's time for a shower and maybe a good blow dry on low that he loves.

He used to love a morning soak if it was warm enough in the house. No problem in the summertime, but it was a no-go in fall, winter, and spring. Kudos to you and Sandy for getting him in!
