Bokka's does. He chews his back feathers sometimes, but sometimes under neath his wings his down feathers become knotted. I am not sure what causes this, he doesnt chew his down feathers.:confused: And when Im preening him and checking his feathers, I sometimes get a finger caught between some knotted downs.:(

Yes Dusty has this problem at times, usually in winter and the "romantic" time of the year. I just give her a little extra wheatgerm oil in her food as its good for skin, hair, feather health, stops dry skin so she doesn't chew the "undie" feathers from irritation. It resolves itself.
