This place is the biggest scam I have ever seen. Alot of fake paper work and all I got was $850.00 poorer.

I'm sorry that this happened to you.

Unfortunately that site has several hallmarks of a scam: no reputable breeder I've seen allows you to purchase a bird without at least talking to you first, and I've seen several of those photos before on other scam sites. Despite claiming that the birds are raised in a bio-secure aviary, a couple of the photos clearly show a bird in a pet shop. This repeated set of phrases is clearly there to show this site in searches and drive traffic to the site.

We have a small selection of parrots including African Grey parrot for sale, Umbrella Cockatoo parrot for sale, Solomon Eclectus parrot for sale, Scarlet Macaw parrot for sale,Goffin Cockatoo parrot for sale, Black Palm Cockatoo parrot for sale, Greenwing macaw parrot for sale, Blue and Gold Macaw parrot for sale and Hyacinth macaw parrot for sale.
The text on the About Us page appears on several other scam sites

https:// royalparrotaviaries [dot] com/
https:// africangreysparrotfarm [dot] com/

The whois information is here: avesbreedershome.com whois lookup - who.is
The domain is registered to an address in a shopping centre in the middle of Phoenix, Arizona - not exactly somewhere conducive to raising parrots.

The really key one is the very cheap prices. You will never, ever get a hyacinth for $1100. Current prices for a CAG are $3000+. If you see a site offering cheap parrots, RUN.

I recommend reading this to spot some of the signs of a scam. It's pointless to report these sites - at soon as you get one taken down, three pop up in its place. The best way to avoid being scammed is to educate yourself thoroughly on how to recognise a scam.

Please don't shop. Adopt. All you lost was some money. If you volunteered some of your time at a rescue you may just get the bird of your dreams ( one that picks you) very cheap or even free. And you'd be doing the right thing. :)

Unfortunately, there are hundreds of scammers out there. Please visit a rescue centre before you investigate buying. There are too many parrots out there that are stuck in rescue centres, because of an owner passing, or just not being able to take care of them anymore. Just check the rescue centre out? Maybe a parrot will fall in love with you, or you’ll with them.

If you do plan on buying, I’d recommend African Queen Aviaries. Ms Pattison is a highly respected breeder, and has been breeding for a long time. JC Aviaries is slightly more expensive, and don’t specialise in African Grey’s, but are nonetheless authentic breeders.

Sorry that this happened to you. Do you have any recourse to get your $$ back? Contact CC company or even contact your state's fraud department or the Better Business Bureau.
BTW, on the review page if you scroll down there's a photo of an African Grey with "Jane". "Jane" = Dr. Pepperberg with one of her Greys, perhaps Alex. These scam sites are shameful and the owners should be prosecuted if they can be caught.

They only take Zelle, Cash App or Apple Pay. I'm not sure what buyer protection these give, if any.
