Hello, what are some natural materials I can use to make toys for my three budgies who love to destroy and chew things? What should I use to hold the toys together? Do I need to wash the items I buy?

Paper is a really good material for birds to bite, you can also get paddle pop sticks and put them on jute twine to make a little toy, you can also buy some shredded paper from your local dollar shop and stuff it in some paper cylinders with some seeds to forage. Another idea is to give them treats wrapped in paper and stuff like that. Safe materials you can use is: paper straws, cupcake liners, paper plates, empty coin wrappers, wooden beads, jute twine, paper bags, bamboo finger traps, ect..
