Here's Gigi and Dori visiting my husband in the best pic so far that shows the subtle difference between a normal green and a dark green Linnie. I have some trouble telling them apart from a distance and sometimes even close up. :)

They're so lovely! Dori has a hint of olive, right?

I've never seen an olive Linnie IRL, but yes, I think Dori looks kind of olive. Here's a fun pic I found online of the 3 greens. Dark green and olive sure are similar.

Wow, those birds are so cute!! Linnies seem like a cross between parakeets and parrotlets....so cute! Hahah, my name is Gigi, too!

Om cuteness! I didn't know there's an olive, I take it back! She's more of an asparagus... Gigi is all baby Wheatgrass!

Green is the natural color of a linnie but I never knew there were different shades of green. I hope it’s not a trend in breeding. It’s good to keep the green color standard I think.

They are adorable no matter what color the feathers are.

I think it's actual olives and asparagus...they must go through a lot of sprouts Wheatgrass juice during conditioning the breeding pairs to get such vibrant greens!
