Hi all

I am new here and I am from Singapore.

I have a question pertaining to diet for my parrotlets and was wondering whether anyone can advise.

I have a pacific blue parrotlet (Sky is her name) for 6 years and currently on chops in the morning and Harrison Superfine maintenance in the afternoon. Recently I bought a green parrotlet (Nugget is her name) which is still being fed seeds. I have read lots of articles and may want to start a diet of mixed seeds with Harrison pellets.

My question is what seed mix is good. Singapore doesn,t have as much selection of seed mixes as in the US.

My current choices are as follows:

1. Higgins Sunburst Cockatiel
- The sunflower seeds really bothers me. but it's readily available here.

2. Higgins Safflower Gold for conures and cockatiels
- No sunflower seeds but I am wondering whether the other ingredients are too big for parrotlets e.g the dried foods etc

3. Volkman Avian Science Super for parrotlets
- Not sure how good this is.

4. Tops Napoleon Seed Mix

5. Versele-Laga Loro Parque African Parakeet Mix

6. Goldenfeast Patagonian blend for lovebird and cockatiel
- I wanted to try Goldenfeast Australian blend but it's not available here. However i prob can get my hands on Goldenfeast Patagonian blend but it's really expensive (about US$30 for a 3 pound pack).

Does anyone have any suggestions?
