I've been monitoring Chickie closely the past couple weeks, she has had a couple spouts which I can only describe as scary for me and her. She completely loses her balance and it appears to be vestibular, it's like she's dizzy and rolling and panicing and trying to fly (which she can't do), so we put it down to lack of energy because it made sense, it happened when I uncovered them later than usual. So I got up earlier to open up the front so Chickie could eat some food and get energy. This had all been working fine. Until today She's started scratching her bottom just like Kylie did when she had her tumour in her stomach...my Mom freaked out so I tried calming her down, then we realised she had feaces stuck on her bum and on her tail. EXACTLY like Kylie which means she was falling off her perch because of the pain/uncomfortableness or because the tumour has grown and weighs her down...I haven't had her long...and I knew she was old but I just can't face tackling it all over again ... I think looking back on Kylie's experience, I went as far as I did because of her health and age. Chickie just doesn't have that on her side and even when we had to clean up Kylie a few times each day...the stress of it...not even she could handle it at times
