So numb right now. Daisy was killed by a coyote this morning. My son let his sweet ducks out of their pen to frolic in their little area that has an 8 foot fence surrounding it. He went across the street, and 10 minutes later saw a huge coyote dragging his beloved Daisy over that fence minus her head. It was that quick.
We are in shock and so much pain. Daisy was my son's everything. He rescued her when she was abandoned in the wilderness, and she's been his therapy bird ever since. She brought him so much joy, and now she's gone. We are wrecked.
