So although seaweed and alfalfa have vitamin D3, I think that a bird would have to consume basically an impossible amount of them in order to get the amount of vitamin D3 they need. You might have to add a supplement if you use TOPS.TOPS' FAQ page says that rather than adding artificial vitamin D the seaweed and alfalfa in their pellets has natural vitamin D.
I meant to mention that a family member has a tree nut allergy, which limits the pellets and seed mixes we can use.
