Curious about shelter bird's beak

Her beak needs a trim. They need to chew on things regularly so that they can naturally wear down their beaks. You can also take them to a vet and the vet will trim the beak. Never try to trim it yourself.

How much does a beak trim usually cost? I am wondering if it might be a money issue for the shelter, which is no reason to neglect the issue, but maybe I can "sponsor" her and pay for her beak trim if it isn't too much.
I used to pay 25 dollars every other month for sparky...he had very bad beak when I got him...the criss cross beak. one went one way the bottom went the other...So places can be 80 dollars for some vets. Sparky couldn't eat properly. Was all kinds of messed up when I got him.
