Crop problems?

Any advice (other than go to an avian vet- we don't have many here so are hard to get into, they are a 5 hour drive which just stresses them out more, and they just charge $750 a visit to take a fecal smear and say it's fine)???
I have a 15 year old pearly conure female with a history of crop problems (taken too early from the nest). She is fed a diet of Harrison's Lifetime/seed mix/egg food with a bit of canola oil (recommended by an avian nutritionist as her cage mate (green cheek male) had a heart murmur); she has actually been keeping her weight on and we haven't had any crop problems in the last year and a half since starting this diet. They get only a little bit of veggies every couple days and a small piece of fruit once a week (used to have mash every day but wasn't working for them as they got older, and she cant have much fruit due to the crop issues), millet, nutri-berries, nuts, and 100% almond butter (to help keep her weight on). I have been giving her Harrison's Flora Fauna, which I feel was also helping.
A couple of days ago she started doing a very weird type of regurgitation/vomiting- I am used to how she normally does it when she has had crop infection/issues in the past but this is entirely different. It seems to be mainly after drinking water and it is almost like if she were a cow bringing up cud (don't see or smell anything but big neck stretches) and her crop seems to not be getting full at all, even though she is eating normally and her energy is fine (basically she is seeming entirely normal otherwise). But mommy is worried! Because of it having been so difficult to keep weight on her I have a scale and monitor her a couple times a week- also normal.
Does anyone have any ideas? Have you ever seen this before???
Please help

I'm sorry, I don't have any experience with this myself :( But I'm replying to bump your thread up and hopefully someone will see it!

It's a bit complex , with age , no diagnose, no plans to follow up with an avian vet , and the amount of food supplements you are adding to the mix . I'm not comfortable with all your supplements , that just me.

I feel using a support formula like baby bird formula, or rescue formula is better for maintaining weight and providing easily digested nutrients. My baby bird formula even comes with support strains probiotics i believe.

Weight loss + crop issues +regurge usually= yeast overgrowth for my own personal experience .

I'm a very big fan of plain Greek yogurt no artificial sweetener, making sure one of the live cultures is acidophilus, and use the the regular full fat ,2-4% fat kind don't go fat free . I use fage brand . But if you have a natural unmessed with Greek yogurt quality brand go with that. About a teaspoon daily for 5 days , every other day for 5 days twice a week , and then as you have in hand to offer . This is just based off my experiences and my results seen . Most of my crop yeast issues have been because of antibiotics treatment. I often saw results day one of yogurt started , but definitely by day 3 . I definitely consult veterinarian with my first couple of yeast overgrowth and was prescribed Nystatin which took care of it . The yogurt I found prevented issues when I started concurrently with my antibiotics treatment, and fixed if caught early if I hadn't.

Readers I always recommend avian veterinarian, and I work closely and depend greatly on mine! Having an avian veterinarian and prompt treatment has saved some truly critical birds of mine , several times through out the years . All of my parrots , Ta-dah, Phoebe, and Pikachu would have died of chylmidia without my vet. Phoebe and Pikachu would have died of egg binding, and reproductive infections. My budgies one survived salmonella infection( food born believed ), and pasturella infection( cat attack infection) , and of course the chylmidia that nearly took my entire flock , because of prompt care by my avian veterinarian.
