Because @Ali is asking, may as well post the pics in one thread.
Theres a small park nearby, family run, open all year round, in the cooler months the croc are in the greenhouse but the roof comes off so they use that year round for some of the young ones or ones needing extra attention.
I kept getting vouchers to go for free in exch. for advertising in the businesss I ran so went a few times back then. I returned in April last year, unfortunately Paco had passed away the year before, he was the largest Nile crocodile in Europe.

I'll go find some snaps to post (pun intended )

When it's warm enough, they go outside,

Here is me and Margarita,

She was lovely,
I spotted the guy taking her back after the talk and asked to hold her again, which he said was fine,
DSCF2075.jpg
I then asked to take her home, he said I could but wouldn't get through the airport, told him that's fine as I live over the road

A few months later,
20150630_123132.jpg wearing my stone crocodile necklace from the previous visit. I wore that thing all the time for years until I broke it :(

Do they breed the ducks there? I know a few of the croc farms I’ve seen breed their own poultry to feed the crocs.

Paco in his final resting place, he was well loved,

I had a fantastic video of him getting in the water but lost it, gutted.

I don´t think they feed the ducks to the crocs. They order in chicken from a supplier.

They all live there, I believe 2-3 hundred. Lots are Nile - offspring and girlfriends of Paco, but there are some others and a few alligators too.
I had pics of the info board, but lost those too over the years.

I must have a mental defect, but I've always been intrigued by them. We had an alligator farm in Phoenix 60/70 years ago and I always had a fit when we came to Phoenix and my parents didn't take me to at alligator farm. They are still near prehistoric and a possibly one of our ancestors.

@Hankmacaw if you have a mental defect than I do to. I find them fascinating. I watched some videos of businesses that take people on their boats and feed the crocodiles. I have mixed feelings about that because it basically shows the crocodiles that people equals food. Some of the crocodiles have come very close to ending up on the boat or tipping it over.

They are much more fascinating and much shiftier and scarier when you encounter them in their natural settings. Unfortunately we have people and pets go missing every year in certain places because they live in close proximity to these beauties and loose their sense of caution, I am sure it is like this anywhere that they naturally live.

Not long ago (maybe a year or so) there were a pair of quite young siblings and their dog that were taken because they were allowed to walk and play along the water edge- the croc took the small dog and one of the kids slipped in then the other tried to help :(
