I am waiting for delivery today of the Crane Warm Mist Humidifier

I emailed their customer care to be certain it was free of teflon.

This unit does not contain Teflon. This is the largest warm mist humidifier that we carry

@Karen - don't forget to put F10 in it when you fill it to keep down and mold/fungus and bacteria.

Thanks for the reminder Mary Lynn! I'm not sure I'm going to keep this one. The output is very little.

I really liked the Levoit but turned out to have teflon.

It looks nice and that price looks even better!! I was worried about teflon so we ended up getting a couple of vaporizers.

Oh, I like this idea! :thanks: I've been cleaning them out by running vinegar water through ours when I clean them. F10 is a way better idea!

It will work well for a small room. There is a blue light around the dial that doesn't turn off which makes it a no for me.

So I did end up using the Crane Humdifier overnight and for a little unit with no bells and whistles it does put a good amount of steam into the air.

Long did you use levoit?
I'm pritty sure birds die almost instantly when exposed to "tefflon gas"
(PFOA vapor). This happens at "260 degrees celcius" (500 F). I'm pritty sure that levoit LV600's element don't reach those temperature. I just asked them in a mail. I don't c any other explanation why your bird have not have health issues if it dose.
Allso I'm pritty sure that all elements of humidifiers have Teflon coating. What I'm theorized is that they don't get that hot. Levoit did have but said that they did not.
Same can be for other manufacturers (in pritty sure).

I can post the whatever thay answer here if u like.
