Just fyi, when I first got the amazons an owner of a bird store told me not to leave the rings WITHOUT a bowl in the bird cages.

He told me the birds could slip and it would cause them to break a wing.

I've told everyone to always have the next food or water bowl ready.... so they didn't leave the bird feeder doors open (for escapes) and to avoid that empty ring.

Really?? I never knew or thought about this but it's a concern now that you mention it! Thank you!

I think you're right. I know prior to my late husband, I had several serious relationships, and while they weren't great they certainly weren't as bad as the one with my late husband became. But my relationship with George is the best relationship I've ever had with anyone. We never argue. We both put the other first. And, when problems do arise, we work the problem, not each other! I didn't know there could be a relationship like this. I'm ever so grateful I got to experience it. I know I already feel cheated that we met so late in life, but so blessed bcuz I know it's a rare and wonderful thing!
