Was thinking of getting a platform type perch for Joey since he leans really far forward in his sleep and sometimes falls off...

Something like this or even a solid piece:

I was just worried that having something like that in the corner would promote nesting behavior and was hoping for some reassurance that it won't. Also if there's any recommendations please let me know!

I think you may be better off with a solid wood platform as that one looks like dowels and to sleep on uniform dowel type perches can lead to bumblefoot.

You could always try a platform and see how he gets on with it. All birds are different so you won't know until you give it a go :)

I use flat and corner perches in many of my cages and TBH I've had no issues at all with them. It doesn't seem to impact their hormones really, even with my super hormonal ones. Mine love sleeping on their flat perches! Worst comes to worst you just take it out. :)
