Just out of curiousity, are cooking smells bad for birds? Im dying from the cooked chicken smells in the kicthen. They are using safe pans and things for cooking the "food", but its making me nauseas and giving me a headache and chest pain (I havent eaten meat in over 3 years and am so sensitive to this stuff), and wondering are birds as allergic to the cooked carcus smells too? I know they are much more sensitive to things than us people.

Mercedez it sounds like more of your personal issues with eating meat. I have never known the smell of cooked food to make pets or people sick unless you arent feeling well.

burnt food is bad,
That's what I've heard as well.

I don't think Kai complained at all about smelling banana bread yesterday! Mostly because he got a small sample... lol

I think your nausea is a psychological thing ;)

I work with a woman who will only eat meat if it's basically charred to a crisp. She told me once that her mother was a terrible cook and overcooked meat... so she grew up eating it that way and still does. I've been in a restaurant with her & seen her send back perfectly-cooked steak and asked for the cook to "burn it". hahaha

A lot of deep frying puts a lot of grease into the air. I don't think that would be too good.

We went to the same cooking school Scott!! :D
