Hi,
My 2 month old baby dusty head conure hit the wall at full flight today and knocked himself put. It was horrible to see him limp like that I thought he was dead! It has been 3 hours and he is still very sleepy , he is standing on his perch in a small cage in my room. I been checking on him he does open his eyes and walk to my hand but other than that he is still quiet. My vet opens in the morning. He had no blood and doesnt appear to have broken bones that I can tell(however I am no vet) I am worried about my little guy.
Any suggestions? Should he have perked up by now?

He needs silent and to sleep in a dark area. Don't take him anywhere now.
Call your vet in the morning, but until then he needs to sleep.

One thing that you have to think about is swelling from a concussion, do not put him in a heated cage (often this is recommended for injury). A vet may be able to prescribe something that could reduce swelling if needed. Sooner then later is better (I really hate weekends sometimes).

Poor baby, I hope he feels better soon.

I have been keeping him in quiet and dark area since it happened. Yes it seems anytime something ever happens to my pets it's always on the weekend. I feel horrible that this has happened. I will definately call first thing in the morning!

Sorry that your baby hit the wall. Best to keep him quiet but continue checking on him. He may have a concussion or he may just be very scared. Watch for things such as losing balance, lethargy, abnormal head position, nausea, vomiting, etc. If he gets worse then you should consider contacting an emergency vet.

we are all quite shooken up from this and we will keep checking on him
I do understand that, and the same thing happened to Eloy when he was a baby. I thought he died because he was passing out in my hands.
My vet told me what I told you.
The day after he was like it never happened, but still a little bit tired.

Prayers! My vet recommended a double dose of metacam for swelling that first time and normal doses twice a day for 10 days after.

Please try not to let him fly for a while. If he has a concussion (which sounds likely), his coordination may be off, putting him at risk of another crash. Hitting his head again while still healing could be devastating.

It's good that he is eating, drinking and active but do let him relax today.

Maybe he just wants to be in his own cage? So glad he seems okay otherwise! Stay safe, little one.

72 hours is the window for trauma...keep him quiet and in his cage.
