I have a 7 year old male conure and I just got him. I was trying to find a female who is 7 years old but I couldn’t find one I found a 5 year old but it was too expensive but a found a 1 year old and 2 year old that were good prices do you think that much of a age gap matters and can they breed

A female conure can become sexually mature from the age of one however having two conures does not mean they will breed they may not even get along with each other, the easiest way of getting two conures for breeding would be to get a proven pair that have bred and laid eggs previously.

Then it should be fine to pair him with the 2 year old. Just make sure to introduce them slowly (put their cages next to each other for a week or two).
