Coloured calcium perch safe for birds???

I went to a pet shop to get my bird a calcium stick but its yellow. Is it safe for my bid to chew on???

Yes I am sure and I have never heard of them being a problem. They are usually made from cuttlebone, calcium and a food dye.

First: if you're really worried about something, don't put it in your bird cage until you've done some research and are comfortable with it

Second: what brand is it? They usually have the ingredients listed

Third: they have to use a food grade dye for anything they intend for the bird to ingest

In my experience, no. I have the best luck with flagstone perches like Seriously Nutz carries
