I have a Canon Digital Rebal XTI, with a 18-55mm lens. I got in Christmas 2007.

I read the manual, but can't figure out how to change the shutter speed, and I have no clue what the color temperture is, and what it does? I am usually very good with electronics, (fixing them, figuring them out). When my mom's computer is doing somthing funky, she calls me and I can usually fix it. Need help, Saroj, and Martine! and any other member experienced with cameras, hehe!
Thanks, Victoria:hug8:

I think Martine should be able to help with the shutter speed since she has an XSi which is very similar to your XTi. And "temperature" has something to do with the colors, but it's very hard to explain. Basically, if you have the color temperature low, the colors will be "cool." Like they will be pale in a way, while if you turn up the "temperature" all the colors will be darker, and very rich and "warm."
Here is wikipedia's definition:

Isn't ISO different from shutter speed?
oops saw color temp. and thought "light"
Shutter speed, put the camera on Tv and scroll the wheel to change the shutter speed. If it has the same layout as my camera.
