Color question,and behavior

I am adopting a 10 year old lovebird from someone,they said they think he is a boy as he humps everything and feeds all his toys,would a female be that randy with stuff?
Also I was wondering what color he would be called as he is not a bright green but more olive colored.

Sounds like a boy! A DNA test would be the only way to know for sure. @Zara

He/she appears to be a double dark factor peach faced lovebird (green series).

They can be.
If these people have had this bird since a youngster then I would err on him being a male simply for lack of eggs.
