Exactly.
I see he wrote ¨*blue*¨. I have seen it written as ¨Parblue¨ and also ¨*Blue¨ - so you could use those interchangably. But you can´t mix them with Blue, as that is something different.
Which is what I meant when I said that you can use the terms however you want to because it’s the same thing. *blue* can be Parblue. So when the breeder of @TrueBlue lovebird said he is the only *blue* in the clutch he wasn’t wrong in calling it that.
@TrueBlue your lovebird is a Turquoise Pied.

Thanks to all for the information!! I do honestly find all of it very interesting...but it does still make my head spin. Knowing really was just for me. And I have no plans to breed.

I was told parents were a Creamino and a Blue White Face.

That´s not what OP said the breeder said. Breeder said Blue. If the two were talking in person or over the phone, breeder shoulod have said ¨Parblue¨.
Maybe you are refering to OP saying this was the only ¨blue¨ baby, refering to visually, not genetically (or we wouldn´t we even having the conversation if OP knew more about the mutations)

@TrueBlue your lovebird is a Turquoise Pied.
Yes. All roads lead to Rome I suppose

Interestingly, you could look at a bunch of Turquoise Roseicollis´, and be wowed how different they look. Especially if you were to look at Turquoise Pied Roseicollis :) Because there is no true Blue, it means they all have that green hue, but some have it a lot more than others. One of my girls looks so blue and has zero hints of green on her at all, but I´ve seen others looking so green. Then there´s those with green hues in different places. It´s all very interesting!

The breeder did use the word blue. But I had already read either on another site or here in AA (can't remember) before my reply that said technically there is no blue category for Roseicollis. So I intentionally put "blue" in quotes myself just because I knew. Other than that, yup, my head is still spinning on all the different mutations out there. LOL.

Buy the book from Dirk van der Abeelem Agaporniden part 2, here are the mutations explained. I also say Turquoise pied, dark factor or not you cant really say this young..
