Cockatoo cage lock

Hi
I have cockatoos and they keep opening their cage door by unlocking the lock

the lock looks like this, if any alternatives I would appreciate it

A lump of wood placed on the inside of the cage to block their access is the thing I have found to be most helpful. I will go grab you a pic to show you how I mean.

Oops. Sorry. Had some drama here last night so the pic slipped my mind. I basically make a side Mount thick slab of wood to block them from getting to the locks.

We use pad locks on my U2 & B&G Macaws cages, sinnce both destroyed their cage door locks.

I wouldn’t want them to open this and then jam their beak in it
Would anyone know where to buy these but bigger????

You can usually get those quick links in SS at a few places- online, marine shops and hardware stores usually always have some. My bird undoes them so I don’t use them anymore, some people use the hook and ball toy hangers.

Oh I need them a lot bigger since the cage door for my birds have a big spacing. Maybe 5-8 cm wide and 8-10 long

Probably not, the cage lock just needs to be pressed down and the. It opens on its own
