Cockatiels nail length

Good evening everyone

Could someone let me know if my cockatiels nails need to be clipped. Here is a picture I took of his nails. Are they too long now or should I wait to have them clipped.

Those look similar to my cockatiel's nails. I heard to put them on a flat surface and if their feet are resting comfortably on the surface, the nails are OK.

As @TikkiTembo mentioned, if your cockatiel is on a table and the tips of the nails touch the surface, they might be a bit long and need a slight trim.
